Oxford Hong Kong Forum 2022: Calling for Presentations

Greetings

I am writing to proudly present our flagship Oxford Hong Kong Forum 2022, titled “Sailing into a new Hong Kong and beyond”.

The upcoming Forum, held on 25–26 June 4-9 pm (HKT) virtually, is set to foster discussions surrounding Hong Kong. The cosmopolitan metropolis we call home is blessed with strong local identities, yet we also reflect on and embrace our unique position in the world. The Forum is targeted to anyone in the world to learn about different aspects of Hong Kong and to engage in meaningful conversations. The event is held in a conference style, consisting of a plenary session, panel discussions, and networking workshops. Previous forum receives warm acclaims with more than 600 registrations around the world.

We are now calling for on-demand presentations, which are 15-min pre-recorded talks of your academic interest and expertise. The on-demand presentations will be made available to forum delegates to watch anytime, alongside the live programme. We welcome any submissions broadly related to the Forum’s topic and any thematic sessions, namely:

  • Hong Kong Culture
  • Hong Kong Environment & Sustainability
  • Hong Kong History
  • Hong Kong Innovation
  • Hong Kong Society

The call closes on 1 June. We encourage you to submit your abstract at your earliest convenience and we will provide the notification of outcome within 14 days after your submission.

For more information and submission, please visit http://oxhkforum.com.

We would be very grateful if you can circulate this information among your colleagues and friends. Thank you very much for your kind attention.

Best wishes
