Dear Colleagues,
You may have noticed from our mass email last week that the CAES Writing Centre is once again recruiting undergraduate and postgraduate peer consultants. I am writing to seek your support for our current recruitment efforts.
The Writing Centre aims to help UGC-funded students of all ability levels to sharpen their English writing skills. We do this primarily through one-to-one consultations delivered by selectively-chosen, trained part-time peer consultants from a wide range of disciplines. The quality of our tutoring program depends on the Writing Centre succeeding in hiring the best student writers possible.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us in one or both of the following ways:
1. Use bulk mail, or any other mass communication methods, to urge strong student writers in your department to apply.
2. Personally encourage any individual students you know to have strong writing skills to apply.
