An international competition to recognize promising research by students that has the potential to significantly improve the world.
- Undergraduate and Graduate Categories
- Submissions can consist of theses, dissertations, or capstone papers (other substantive work may also be considered)
- Open to research in any discipline that prioritizes one of Effective Thesis’ recommended research directions
- Winning submissions receive $1000 prize money

They also offer individual coaching to help with developing more specific topic ideas, assistance with finding a supervisor, feedback on your developed ideas and connection with other students and researchers already working in given research directions. Their services are free, and they can assist students at undergraduate, masters or PhD levels regardless of the country of residency.
